One Epic Three-Day Takeover During Laax Open With The Hottest Line Up of Team Oakley Athletes
Wednesday, January 17, 2024 — The annual Oakley Community Days returns to Laax from Friday, 19 January to Sunday, 21 January, inviting fans to send it with the hottest lineup of Team Oakley snow athletes. Bringing together snow (and après) lovers of all levels, the action-packed weekend is where skiers and snowboarders own the mountain.
Taking place during the Laax Open, Europe’s most prestigious snowsports contest, catch Team Oakley’s incredible snow athletes amongst the epic backdrop of the Swiss Alps at Crap Sogn Gion mountain.
Team Oakley athletes will join the local community, including American Olympic Silver medalist Colby Stevenson, and Swiss 3x Olympic and 8x X Games medalist Mathilde Gremaud, along with Hunter Henderson, Ruby Star Andrews, Kadi Gomis, Seb Schjerve, and more.
The three-day event offers unique experiences both on and off the mountain, including ski/snowboarding lessons for an unforgettable experience of ‘Ride with a Pro’ with Team Oakley athletes Stale Sandbech, Colby Stevenson, Mathilde Gremaud, and more, scoring tips and tricks for mastering your ride.
Oakley's innovations featured in its 2023 Snow Collection, will be shown in the valley and seen on athletes during the Laax Open. Hands-on product demos, Prizm(TM) goggle technology, and its Signature Series snow gear designed in collaboration with Team Oakley snow athletes, allowing community members at all skill levels to test out world-class gear. The weekend wraps with one epic community run, where shredders and Oakley fans unite for one last ride.
Off the mountain, you’ll catch some of the best in snow culture with an exhibition by Daniel Loosli (@doosli) hosted at Riders Hotel and the “Crescendo” outdoor film screening produced by Team Oakley’s own Colby Stevenson @colby_stevenson.
