Rather, it was made by accident after a manufacturing error resulted in a thousand Oakley Kato lenses being cut incorrectly. Yet what followed was an unexpected stroke of design brilliance. The lens-cutting mix-up led to the creation of 940 mind-bending masterpieces, undoubtedly the greatest mistake we’ve ever made – the Space Encoder. 

Space Encoder allows you to stand out with no need for explanation. This bold addition to the Encoder family features rarely-seen futuristic lens shapes with Prizm™ Lens Technology to deliver unparalleled color and contrast.
