OAKLEY® AND FRAGMENT GO BACK TO BASICS WITH NEW LIMITED EDITION COLLECTION

Today, Oakley® and Fragment, the design company founded by Hiroshi Fujiwara, revealed their newest collaboration. The four-piece collection, which marks Hiroshi’ s fifth collaboration with Oakley, blends the brand’s best-in-class performance with Fragment’s elegant, design-focused ethos to create a line of eyewear made to suit a contemporary lifestyle.

The collection features the iconic Frogskins® frame, which is celebrating its 35th anniversary this year. It goes back to basics, paying homage to the timeless frame with carefully considered enhancements designed to elevate each piece. The collection is composed of the Frogskins and Frogskins XS, providing a fit for all sizes. Available in black, every frame will feature both the Oakley and Fragment Design logos etched onto the left temple. The eyewear also comes with a special microbag featuring both logos as well.

A seasoned snowboarder in his own right, Hiroshi relished the opportunity to include a line of snow goggles in the collection. Inspired by his own passion and travels for premium powder snow riding, Hiroshi and Oakley chose two models that highlight the range in performance eyewear, while appealing to every generation of rider. The O Frame 2.0 and Fall Line are both available in the Polished Black colorway and feature an attachment for a nose guard, something Hiroshi and other notable backcountry riders wear to protect from stray branches, wind and snow. To further enhance performance qualities, O Frame 2.0 comes with two types of lens colors that can be interchanged depending on the snow and light conditions.

The collection will be available for the first time ever exclusively at Oakley’s Flagship store in Shibuya on October 31.
