OAKLEY® TO CONTINUE OFFICIAL PARTNERSHIP WITH THE PARIS-ROUBAIX RACE

Oakley® continues its commitment and official partnership with the legendary Paris-Roubaix cycling race. Nicknamed “The Hell of the North,” Paris-Roubaix is known for sending riders over the brutal cobblestone roads of Northern France as they head towards the Belgian border. Only the strong, brave and lucky will survive the hours of bone-shaking racing, which is why winning puts riders among the immortals of the sport. This year’s event will also mark the second year in which a women’s World Tour race will take place.
Team Oakley’s cycling teams as well as individual riders will benefit from the latest technologies in terms of visual equipment. The Californian brand, a leader in innovation, will support Team Oakley cyclists who will challenge themselves on the most demanding cobblestones in France. The glasses will be used by high-level athletes at the Paris-Roubaix race, Canyon/SRAM women's team as well as Alpecin-Fenix, Quick-Step and Ineos Grenadiers men’s teams.

The Oakley at Paris Roubaix Experience:
Oakley will host members of its community at Paris- Roubaix to enjoy a unique experience: starting with “a community ride” through the heart of Paris on Thursday April 14, departing from the specialized cycling concept store & coffee shop “Steel Paris”. The group will then move to the sidelines of the competition, where Oakley’s guests will have the chance to ride the Amateur race as well as take part in a photo shoot on the symbolic cobbled sections of the race, such as the Carrefour de l'Arbre, the trouée d'Arenberg and, of course, the famous Roubaix Velodrome.
A few hours before the departure of the professional women and men, guests invited by Oakley will have the opportunity to measure themselves against the legend of “The Hell of the North” and its diabolical cobblestone sectors such as the Carrefour de l'Arbre or the trouée d 'Arenberg. All will be equipped with the latest technical prowess of the Oakley bike range.
