OAKLEY® CONTINUES BE WHO YOU ARE CAMPAIGN WITH THE 2021 SNOW COLLECTION, DESIGNED IN COLLABORATION WITH WORLD-CLASS ATHLETES TO DRAW A FRESH LINE IN SNOW APPAREL

Oakley®’s Snow collection was designed in collaboration with world-class athletes on a mission to celebrate each of their individual takes on sport and to elevate cold-weather style across a wide range of demanding conditions. Each athlete follows the brand’s mantra for the 2021 snow collection, “draw your line”, uniquely representing their respective sport and together, forming a team that embodies the true spirit of the brand: Be Who You Are.

Oakley worked with each athlete to design a line that fits their needs, both on and off the mountain. The result is a fresh line for those seeking performance apparel. The collection features the latest fabric technologies, combined with modern silhouettes and added attention to detail. Whether submitting an alpine peak, hitting the park or relaxing in apres-ski style, this line showcases an array of stylish options.

STÅLE SANDBECH

Ståle Sandbech is a three-time Olympian who won silver at the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi. He has also won multiple X Games Medals, though he’s perhaps best known for his impressive – and often hilarious – videos made in collaboration with his snowboarding crew, collectively known as RK1.

Ståle teamed up with Oakley for a successful collaboration that met all his needs for style and function. He likes pieces that transition from on-mountain to off-mountain without sacrificing comfort, style or technology.

Taking his favorite styles and silhouettes from the past seasons, Oakley enhanced them to fit his latest needs. Pants have been updated to a baggier style with adjustable features, accompanied by double-layers jackets with external taping. Classics like flannels and hoodies with more durability and tech round out the collection.

HENRIK HARLAUT

Henrik Harlaut is known as the smiling messiah of skiing. The Swedish freestyle skier possesses the most ski X-Games podiums in the history of the competition. He is also the only male skier to win three medals across multiple disciplines in one X-Games. Henrik cultivates a unique skiing style that makes him stand out on any mountain.

Oakley and Henrik developed his Line Miner goggles, which feature a graphic theme inspired by his passion for classic street culture as well as his personal logo. The goggles provide ultimate peripheral vision in a cylindrical-style design, fitting closer to the face than ever before and allowing for a vast amount of downward and side-to-side periphery. The goggles are also engineered with Prizm™ Lens Technology to help enhance contrast on the mountain in a variety of light and snow conditions.

SAGE KOTSENBURG

Sage Kotsenburg has achieved the highest accolades in snowboarding, including a gold medal at the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi. His use of snowboarding skill and creativity on the mountain made him the first gold medalist at these games.

Whether he's snowmobiling, carving the mountain or hiking, staying dry is imperative for him. To prepare for the outside elements, Sage’s must-haves include layers with breathable, moisture-wicking garments. Warm-weather garments including jackets with adjustable hoods paired with gloves and balaclavas are also essentials for Sage on and off the mountain.

ALEKSANDER AAMODT KILDE

Aleksander Aamodt Kilde is the most recent of the “Attacking Vikings” to leave his mark on alpine skiing. Aleksander is the reigning FIS Alpine Overall World Champion, was the 2016 Super-G champion and is also a two-time Olympian for Norway.

A fan favorite with undeniable speed, strength and charisma, Aleksander also recently worked with Oakley to design his signature Flight Path Goggles. Its graphic theme “Viking” was inspired by a group of Norwegian Alpine skiers known as the Attacking Vikings who took the country to the top of the sport in the early 1990s and have helped the sport stay there ever since.

MIKAELA SHIFFRIN

As 2x Olympic Gold Medalist, 3x FIS World Cup Overall Champion, 8x World Cup Discipline Champion, and winner of 66 World Cups, Mikaela Shiffrin is one of the greatest skiers of all time and a household name around the world. On top of her athletic achievements, she’s also adored for consistently delivering positive, inspiring messages to her 2 million followers on social media.

Her signature goggles are inspired by the natural wonder of the Northern Lights. The color palette for the goggles mixes different shades of blue and light purple, and the pattern on the strap reflects the bright dancing lights of the aurora.

MARK MCMORRIS

Mark McMorris is one of the most decorated slopestyle riders in history and considered one of the best all-around snowboarders in the world. The Canadian is a two-time Olympian, 20-time X-Games medalist and four-time US Open Championship winner. Though the sport has been challenging to him at times, including many life-threatening injuries sustained throughout the course of his career, Mark has overcome them all with his resilient spirit to achieve greatness on and off the mountain.

Mark’s signature goggles draw on the graphic theme of the lilac. Inspired by the plant, the goggle blends a signature purple palette with pastel hues to emphasize a light-hearted and colorful theme to match his riding style. The goggles also feature McMorris’ personal logo.
