OAKLEY® AND KIKO KOSTADINOV PRESENT NEXT-GENERATION EYEWEAR ON MENS FW26 PARIS RUNWAY

A new radical prototype from Oakley’s Moonbase1 appears alongside custom Terraformas.

Oakley® introduces an exclusive eyewear prototype, presented in a series of distinct colorways, alongside reimagined Terraforma iterations on the runway during the Kiko Kostadinov Menswear FW26 show in Paris. Framed within the context of the collection’s narrative, the glasses emerge not as accessories, but as integral artifacts of design research where performance engineering and avant-garde fashion converge.

Developed at Moonbase1, Oakley’s high-security innovation laboratory, the latest prototype brings technical experimentation directly to the catwalk. Presented in five distinct lens colorways, the frame is handcrafted in California and produced within Oakley’s in-house lab, enabling new investigations into material, scale, and structure beyond the constraints of conventional production. Defined by its wrapped silhouette and sharp diamond-scribe detailing, the design draws directly from the artworks informing Kiko Kostadinov’s collection as an integrated element of the runway narrative.

“This collaboration represents a natural collision between Oakley®’ s legacy of innovation and Kiko’s uncompromising design vision,” said Alex Ellinport, Global Product Director at Oakley® “Moonbase1 gave us the environment to push beyond traditional constraints, exploring new forms, new materials, and new ways of thinking about eyewear. Seeing these prototypes come to life on the runway reinforces our belief that performance design, technical engineering and cultural expression can coexist.”

Alongside the new prototype, seven iterations of Oakley Terraforma are presented in exclusive colorways. Defined by short lens profiles and flat base curve construction, each style features Prizm™ lens technology and explores color-blocking variations through the interplay of solid and translucent materials, creating layered visual depth through contrast and refraction.

The collection made its debut at the Kiko Kostadinov Paris Fashion Week Menswear FW26 runway presentation on Saturday, June 27th.

This latest chapter builds on earlier runway explorations introduced during the AW26 show at Paris Fashion Week in March where Oakley® and Kiko Kostadinov womenswear, designed by Laura and Deanna Fanning, presented experimental variations of the Oakley® Ellipse model and a 3D printed prototype.

Prototypes today. The future is next. Stay tuned on @oakley and @kikokostadinov to see what’s coming.
