OAKLEY UNVEILS NEXT-GEN RETAIL HUB IN DENVER’S RIVER NORTH ARTS DISTRICT

The newest Oakley store offers a first-of-its kind, immersive shopping experience, shaped by the brand’s 50 year legacy and designed with community at its core.

Oakley is proud to join the Denver community with the opening of its newest retail location in the River North Arts District. Blurring the lines between performance and culture, the immersive space is built for the athletes, artists, and creators of RiNo, serving as the premiere destination for gear and community building.

Reinterpreting Oakley’s protopic design language through a local lens, the store blends the brand’s signature brutalist aesthetic, echoing its iconic Foothill Ranch headquarters, with the state’s unrivaled natural elements. The result is an experiential environment that connects back to nature and revitalization. A large-scale mural, painted by local artist Chelsea Lewinsky, bridges Oakley’s California’s roots and its new Denver home, honoring the brand’s DNA while celebrating the city’s thriving street art culture.

Every element has been intentionally designed to pay homage to the brand’s 50 year legacy, inviting visitors to fully immerse themselves into the Oakley universe. The high-tech bunker-style space merges past and future, featuring a mix of digital and analog displays that offer immersive storytelling moments, tributes to Oakley’s legendary roster of athletes, and amplifications of the brand’s ‘Future Genesis’ platform. True fans of the brand will spot Easter eggs woven throughout the space that nod to Oakley’s heritage and design legacy.

More than just a retail space, the store is an immersive, 360 omnichannel experience. The RiNo opening signals a new era, where cutting-edge technology and thoughtful design come together to redefine the consumer journey. Special touchpoints include:

  • Customization Zone featuring Oakley Custom Product to customize shades with preferred frames, lenses, or sport team colors for a unique look

  • Prizm Wall an interactive space where visitors can experience Oakley’s unparalleled lens technology

  • Museum Wall holding a curation of iconic product from the past

  • Catalyst Wall filled with new high-heat product built for the future and delivered to the present

The store will feature one of the largest selections of Oakley apparel and accessories in the nation, including some of the brand’s most coveted collections: Latitude, Reserve, and Field Gear Line. Visitors can also shop exclusive limited-edition drops and collaborations released throughout the year.
