Futurism has long been at the core of both Oakley and multidisciplinary artist Anyma, each pushing how technology and innovation can rewrite the rules of reality. That shared drive for disruption set the foundation for a visionary collaboration rooted in Future Genesis, Oakley’s narrative platform that imagines a better tomorrow, where the digital world informs the real.
Originally introduced through a series of short films, Future Genesis is Oakley’s lens for what’s next: a protopian universe that fuels storytelling, product innovation, and immersive experiences. That same future-thinking spirit shaped the Oakley x Anyma partnership, which fused cutting-edge music, surreal visuals, and design born to disrupt, culminating in a boundary-pushing performance to celebrate the brand’s 50th anniversary where Travis Scott also gave a surprise performance as the new Chief Visionary of Oakley.
Unveiled during an era-defining night at Oakley’s Interplanetary Headquarters celebrating the brand’s past, present, and future, the collaboration was introduced through a visually captivating short film projected at scale in Foothill Ranch, CA. Against a stark white backdrop, Anyma appeared suspended by cables midair wearing Oakley 13.11 eyewear and digital concept apparel that was first seen within the Future Genesis: Chapter One trailer. The video blurred the line between reality and illusion, pulling viewers into a sensorial experience, powered by sound, vision, and transformation – with a backdrop of 3d animations. It was a continuation of Anyma’s Quantum era and a reflection of Oakley’s own creative evolution.
The same film now opens Anyma’s Ibiza residency at [UNVRS] (Click HERE), anchoring the surreal performance of physical and digital realms colliding. At its core is a mantra that encapsulates the shared DNA between Anyma and Oakley:
“Perception fractures. The real blends with the unreal. Anyma and Oakley converge—welcome to Future Genesis.”
This moment marks a new chapter for Oakley: a creative collision where sound, vision, and identity fuse into something new. Through Future Genesis, the brand continues to shape the future, not as prediction, but as creation. Together with Anyma, this is just the beginning of a boundary-pushing collaboration with much more to come.
About Anyma
Anyma is the American-born Italian electronic music and multidisciplinary artist Matteo Milleri. Renowned for boundary-defying techno compositions, visuals and live shows, Anyma became the first electronic music artist to hold a residency at Sphere Las Vegas (the most technologically advanced performance space in the world). The meticulously produced Afterlife Presents Anyma “The End of Genesys” cybernetic opera featured esteemed collaborations with hand-selected producers, visual artists, musicians, and DJs, and drew in an audience of 200,000 people across all 12 dates. Exploring themes of technology, nature, humanity, and coexistence, Anyma also created the Genesys album trilogy. A debut album, Genesys, came out in 2023, followed by 2024’s Genesys II (Afterlife/Interscope), with a third, recently released album, The End of Genesys. Anyma’s collaborators across albums and live shows have included Sevdaliza, Grimes, Ellie Goulding, FKA Twigs, John Summit and many more. In addition to Anyma, Milleri has been an inimitable force in the underground dance scene spanning well over a decade. He is one half of the electronic duo, Tale Of Us, who created Afterlife Records and the global Afterlife event movement tagged “an odyssey throughout the realm of consciousness.” Milleri’s commitment to raising global consciousness by melding music, tech, and art in a revolutionary manner is unprecedented. He has helped create many groundbreaking events including ones for Afterlife throughout Europe, South America and Mexico, and Anyma events in Melbourne and Istanbul, as well as performances at Coachella and Tomorrowland. In 2024, he took on visual creative direction for The Weeknd’s “One Night Only” concert in São Paulo, Brazil. His remixes of Fred Again…'s "Turn On The Lights again..(feat. Future)" and Lana Del Rey's "Say Yes To Heaven" have seen great success. Anyma is currently playing his summer residency at [UNVRS] in Ibiza, headlined Ultra Miami 2025 with a B2B set with DJ and producer, Solomun, for a first-ever, world-exclusive performance for the festival’s 25th anniversary, and will perform at Sziget Festival, Zürich Open Air, and many more.
