Every Second Counts: Oakley Spotlights First Responder and Big Wave Surfer, Andrea Moller, In Powerful New Film
The second installment in the ‘Oakley In Service’ series highlights an everyday hero and fearless force dedicated to water safety
Oakley® continues its commitment to honoring community leaders and first responders with the latest Oakley In Service film, Every Second Counts. Launched last year from Oakley Standard Issue (OSI), Oakley In Service highlights the stories of those who dedicate their lives to protecting others – both locally and beyond. At the core of these stories are Oakley’s range of performance products, designed not just for the moment but for the mission.
Every Second Counts follows Maui-based paramedic, Andrea Moller, as she fearlessly navigates high-stakes emergencies both on land and in the ocean. A pillar of her community, Andrea’s commitment to service knows no bounds – her efforts include taking high-risk medical calls in remote locations to pioneering surf rescue efforts in towering waves. As a Guinness World Record-holding big wave surfer, she understands the dangers of the ocean firsthand and has made it her mission to spread awareness and education around water safety.
The film features the WTR Icon, Oakley’s first surf helmet, which made its debut at the 2024 Lexus Pipe Pro at Pipeline on the North Shore of Oahu and later in the 2024 Paris Olympic Games. The helmet’s innovation was co-created with elite athletes to enable peak performance through protection.
